How many tentacles does ACORN have? Thanks to New York's crazy laws, candidates for office can appear on the ballots with multiple parties. It's possible to win office by adding up all the party line votes.
One such party in NYC is Working Families Party. Well, they're about a party, but not working families. So what are they? Well, here's a clue: Bertha Lewis, the co-chair of the Working Families Party is the executive director of the New York office of ACORN. Oh, and that's not just all.
From biggovernment.com:
But more importantly, the Working Families Party is a criminal
enterprise utilizing a for-profit political consulting firm, Data and
Field Services (DFS) to skirt New York City election laws regarding
public finance and campaign spending limits.
